What type of Window?
The type of window you choose depends on practical benefits and, importantly, the look you want to establish for your home.

Sliding windows are practical, simple and well priced. They give you large areas of glass, clean lines and good ventilation via the simple sash.

Double hung windows are space efficient with nothing opening outwards. Top and bottom sliding sashes allow excellent ventilation with warm air escaping out the top and cool air entering below. Awning windows are hinged at the top, providing excellent air flow even when it rains.

Casement windows add a touch of class, opening your room to the outdoors and taking advantage of cross breezes.

To do its job properly, a window must be structurally strong, easy to maintain in good working order, and be airtight and watertight to an acceptable level. Every window type that Renma offers has been tested and conforms to Australian Standard AS2047.

In terms of durability and maintenance, aluminium window frames are clearly superior. They don’t need painting and a simple wipe over with a damp cloth is usually sufficient to keep your windows looking like new. An excellent choice of colours is also available.

Double Hung Windows
Our double hung windows offer smooth and effortless opening while the sash guides and seals ensure the window is weatherproof and rattle free. Each sash moves independently to regulate air flow as you need. Windows are fitted with a quick and easy Cam Latch system and optional security locks are available, with the convenience of the same key for all your windows.

Awning Windows
Ever popular awning windows are sturdy and elegant with a single, uninterrupted pane of glass. The smooth, chain-operated winder lets you control the amount of ventilation, even when it’s raining. It shuts securely, resists jemmying and is available with an optional keyed lock.

Casement Windows
Hinged on the side, Renma casement windows can be adjusted to let in as much or as little air as you require. Stainless steel stays keep it open at any position and a locking option is also available.
